Since IWO's opening there has been allot of speculation about what names in wrestling would join the company. After all, in recent years the only thing to come close to competing with the World Wrestling Entertainment was Total Non-stop Action. Even at that, TNA still didn't as "polished" a product as the WWE. Wrestling ratings dropped faster than a dutch hookers underwear during the summer and the business started to try new paths in order to get a new breed of young fans. The perfect example of how well and how un-well this worked would be John Cena. Cheered one minute but the under fifteens. Booed the next by the over fifteens. Current "over" talent was under used and underused talent was ignored. Names came and went between the "Big Two" of TNA and WWE until IWO opened. This then started a change to the current pattern. But they needed a "big name" to draw the fans like Hulk Hogan did with WCW in the nineties. Upon hearing that Chris Jericho had signed with company fans got very excited and took to IWO, selling out its first show in a record time for the ticket sellers. But at a special meeting held for fans to promote the show, a video was shown that crashed chat forums around the world and sparked a frenzy among wrestling fans, both young and old...
The return of one BROCK LESNAR!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Saturday Night Collision returns from commercial and the camera from the rafters slowly pans across the crowd, from left to right looking at the sold out arena when...
Brock Lesnars titantron plays sending the crowd into a frenzy! Everyone rises to their feet and camera flashes flicker around the arena. Cheers and screams echo as the camera cuts down to a ringside camera man who scans across the front row who lean over the barricade screaming and cheering, some waving their signs wildly. Others pointing to their signs as some just wave for the fifteen seconds of fame being on TV. The camera then cuts to the bottom of the entrance ramp where you can just about see the lights in the arena fade apart from on the stage. Brock Lesnar walks out from the back curtain in his ring attire (black boots, black wrestling tights with a white tribal pattern on the back, black knee pads and black wrist tape around both his wrists) and walks to the center of the stage. Brock does his stage entrance, springing from left foot to right while throwing some loose punches to the ground as a final warm up before heading to the ring. As his name plate flashes up on screen he proceeds down to the ring. Fans look on in awe of the monster as he passes them down the ramp. The darkened arena, with a spotlight on Brock following him to the ring, only lights up with the odd mobile phone or camera flash. The rafter cam gives a excellent shot of this before the lights come on over the ring. Brock stops just before the ring and does his warm up routine again before leaping off both feet onto the apron. As he lands on the apron, both feet at the same time, he grabs the top rope and thrusts back pulling the top rope as pyro shoots up from all four corner posts. Brock pulls himself back and steps under the top rope into the ring. Brock walks over the other side of the ring where a ring crew member passes up a microphone through the ropes. Brock's titantron and music stop and the lights return to normal and the titantron returns to the cameras image of Brock Lesnar in the middle of the ring holding a microphone under his lips.
Brock Lesnar:"Shut the hell up. I didn't come out here to please you people. I came out here to make my intentions clear. To make sure there was no confusion about my return to the ring. I was the fastest growing WWE Superstar of all time. Made the jump to the UFC, won the title there. I have nothing left to prove. I came back to wrestling because the business is dying. Ever since I was child I have been involved in wrestling and naturally fell in love with it. So to look at the condition of MY sport and to stand back and take no action wasn't an option. Instead of I decided to come back and give this business the kick up the ass it needs. When the hell did John Cena become a big time pro wrestler? What ever happened to Kurt Angle? Why did he end up in TNA? Why are the best guys being left out to dry? Because they have no spine and no balls. But not Brock Lesnar. This monster is back and stronger, badder and bigger than ever. Tonight I face that puny backstreet wanna be Chris Jericho and some other twit in a triple threat match. Well you will be pleased to know that not only will I win my match. I will destroy them! So not only does this go out to the guys in the back, but the entire wrestling business. HERE COMES THE PAIN!"
